Recent Successful Action Alert (It works!): On Saturday, April 18th, Congressman Jason Altmire (D) of the 4th Congressional District planned a “Congress on Your Corner” meeting for constituents. Our action alert was sent to members in that area providing information concerning his recent history of supporting the bailouts and spending increases along with suggested questions for the Congressman. He had planned for a rather small crowd with only thirty chairs set up, yet more than 150 concerned citizens showed up asking him difficult questions on his policies, many carrying our email. When Congressman Altmire appeared he also was carrying a copy of our email!  

This type of grass roots activism needs to be duplicated in every District in Pennsylvania. We need to make sure our representatives are held to account for their profligate spending.
